I would again repeat example of Prophet and his wife Hazrat Khadeeja (RA). He married a lady 15 years older than him and they led a happy and healthy life for 25 years. Hazrat Khadeeja died at the age of 65 years and the Prophet at the age of 63 years (13 years after the death of Hazrat Khadeeja).
Arab society believed (and still believe) a formula for wife’s age. I guess its : Husband age / 2 + 7= Wife’s age… But all this history of married life of prophet proves these theories were wrong. Its just our state of mind that makes and believe on such theories.
