Yes i am sure marriages like this are not rare but unfortunately very common. why ? reason for gals is that there are not many decent proposals. Its very hard to get what u are looking for. The fear of getting over aged haunts you plus ppl around keep reminding it to you that Rishtay nahin miltay. Larka at least shareef tou hai, shakal mein kiya rakha hai. shadi ke baad sab theek lagtay hein. etc etc. So yes many gals marry boys they dont find attractive before marraige.

Yep. Having difficulty in finding good men for any reasons may make women settle for good qualities other than physical attraction.

P.S. People do fall out of attraction with time or they do not find it very important factor when relationship develops more bonding.
