i dont know how well they knew each other beforehand... the fear of finding out thing is just something i think may have gone through his mind its not my personal opinion or anything... how is drinking not a big thing?? see if u do these "checks" and lets say both ppl really like or love each other, then the other person finds out that u were asking around about them i think they would be really hurt cuz they would question how much u trust them and all that kinda stuff know what i mean? so who knows maybe none of it is true (inshallah)

doing the checks waayyy after "getting to know them", id say was to do with trust issues. These curiosities should be cleared up before u want something to happen with the person..

ok drinking may be a big issue, but its not something that cannot be dealt with. It can be talked about and given up.. thats what i was referring to..

Well.. i know sumbudy who went through the similer situation.. it was just that the wedding was arranged.. n the guy didnt actually lied to the family .. but never really told them wut he been upto abroad...well... by the time girl found out about that.. she was very much in love with him.. n she decided to scrap out that part of his life out of her memory.... well... its been two years now.. n they r living happily ...
