I agree, the ‘cousins are like brothers/sisters’ thing is plain annoying. I mean hello, theres a reason as to why they’re your non-mehrams

I have some cousins in pakistan that I know nothing about nor do I keep in touch with them. They are practically strangers to me. The Irani guy living down the street from me is more of a brother to me then they are.
