I am really confused, I know age does not matter but at the same time younger …I dont know.

I guess I would if he ticked of all the other boxes. Age really doesn't matter in the bigger picture of marriage, IMO.
A close family friend is married to a woman who is 8 years older than him. I don't know if it was an issue when they got married or not, but if I hadn't known their birthdays, I wouldn't be able to tell. They look pretty much around the same age.
A close friend of mine recently married a guy who is 3-4 years younger than her - everything was perfect about the guy except the age according to her and after much thought she decided it was something she was willing to compromise on.
Both couples seem to be doing really well, Mashallah.

Maturity and being responsible have nothing to do with age..my friend got married a guy 5 years older than her and also my cousion got married to a guy younger than her. And it is vice versa applies to both. All you need to be responsible and mature!!no matter how old are you and your spouse is!

Well age does matter & age difference does matter too but that depends how much younger are we talking about in here? If there is a huge difference then I wouldn't at all marry him.

Depends on the age of both people and the age gap. My dad is technically 1 year younger than my mom and I never got the impression that it was an issue for them. They were both around when they got married.
I think if BOTH people are a bit older (late 20's and above), then there's nothing wrong with a few years in gap as long as the guy has finished his education and has the ability to support a wife/kids.

In university I've had classes and been friends with younger guys and no difference for me. We were in the same place in life. It's the same now that I'm in the professional field. When there is no power imbalance the difference is minimal. Some of the guys my age and older are still as annoying as they were before so age is just a number -_-
