So my friend (lets call her F) met this great dude (V) in 2005. They started out being friends, but now things are obviously more serious than just that. V is a great guy, I've only met him a handful times, but from what she says and what other friends say, he is suppose to be a "perfect" guy for her. The problem is, that V is from Spain and he is Catholic. My friend F is from a conservative and religiuse family, though they are more traditional than religiuse. I know her family history very well. And I have a feeling that her parents wont agree on her marrying this dude. How come? No one in F's family is married outside their caste. Only a cousin of her is married to a turkish girl - who is muslim btw - and he is disowned by the whole khandan. Only his parents visit him at times.
Now, how can my friend convince her parents the best? I dont want her to take a drastic step and end up being killed or something.. or even worsed like being taken to pak and married to the first buddha they find ..
So my question is basically, do you know anyone whoz married to a gora/gori? How did they convince their parents? I need some lighting up stories, since F is very depressed nowadays and I'm afraid she will do something stupid .. and no I cant tell her family, I'm too scared of tht. ..
