Then why marry someone who doesn’t already wear the hijab? Marry someone and she wear hijab because of her own religious beliefs, not because you want to protect her.

2 . Hijab is by choice
3 . If bullets are coming then you DO have to take some cover . It is not by choice , but out of necessity.
4 . Who said they are cheating ? I am talking about saving ones self from bad looks . If you can do it in bikini then I can’t stop you . But that is not how it works .

The big deal is that its the wrong approach. Teach society that staring is bad manners (I’ve never heard a Pakistani parent telling their kids this), rather than that you have to be covered so that despite people staring, they can’t see certain things.

Which is BS anyway. If you wear moderately conservative American or Pakistani or European clothing, no one should catch a glimpse of anything elicit anyway. It should suffice. But no, we have to listen to our Arab masters who speak through our Imams who tell us to wear abayas and hijabs, so that we look more culturally like Arabs than we do like Pakistanis.

Pakistanis dress much better than arabs.

And i think Namaan and his wife can decide how they want to go about hijab, they don’t need anyone else to poke their nose into it.

I remember a couple in my college days, this guy used to come to drop his wife and the whole college and the shopkeepers at gates would be there at that time. Must be quite embarassing.
