Yes... it takes come couples long for no reason.
My khalla had a baby after 17 years of marriage.
Just make sure your friend gets checked..
Hey - i think its quite normal.
i'm married 4 months now, but aint looking forward to be 'mummy', couple should enjoy each other first year >get to know each other better ...think about children 2/4 years later when she's ready-
...........but depends on family situations/health....unfortunatly there's sometimes pressure from in-laws etc etc.
perfectly normal (leaving out the growing number of questions and worries put forward by friends/family when they see it delayed)....
As far as I know if a couple doesn't get pregnant after
trying for a year they should consult a doc.
That doesn't mean it's bad news though.
one year is normal.. n i dont think they need to get worried about it unless they badly want a baby now... they should consult a gyna if thats a case n get themselves checked up....

Dear it is quite normal thing and she is lucky enough that she hasn't concieved yet.. Its kinda dichotomy. If you dont get pregnant in first three months ..people arround you asking about your health and take it negative. But if you get pregnant in early months people will happy but you will be in trouble. Because, in early months of your marriage is known as transit period, in which you are trying to absorb in new culture and understanding the new values and meanings of some household vocabulary..if you get preganant in due time..than it is always a tough time to take pregnancy and household matters together. Simply, its a trade off between Happiness and sacrifice. Being a Male, these are my observations and might be not suited to some one.
But medically, it is normal till 27months to not have a baby.
