Also the thing that I forgot to mention is that marriage can also cut you of from your buddies. Because my buddies are not married and my wife wouldn’t want to hang out with them, nor would they like it, it would just be awkward. Instead you have to make friends with other married couples.

Just because you are married now, doesn’t mean you can’t hang out with your buddies ALONE! I think you just need to strike the right balance and i am sure no “sane” wife would take offense to her husband hanging out with his buddies as long as you are not overdoing it.
