Think of each other as partners and devote yourselves to caring for each other. Don't go in to marriage thinking of your spouse as an obstacle, a servant, an obligation, a burden, an enemy, etc. Think of her/him as someone you are to look after, comfort, care for, please, etc. If you can't do that, you aren't ready to be married.
