So I was curious why married guys flirt online & offline even though they are married ? And those who don’t flirt, they say its just lack of opportunity else we would have. Why so guys?
Now don’t tell me I am surrounded by wrong crowd, just answer the question.

Define flirting. Recently I saw a post where a coworker asked to have lunch with her and the guy said he is married. As if married guys don't eat.
On this forum it is harder to nail down that definition, because of the varied backgrounds. Chatting/messaging could be just that for one, but flirting for others.
You are not surrounded by the wrong crowd; they are just immature.

I have heard something similar…that given the opportunity and if there were no majbooriqn, even the committed guys would go astray. I’ve heard (from men)…and this includes even the more seedhay and conservative among the lot…that they have to push themselves to remain faithful because it’s within their nature to explore greener pastures and spread their seed so to speak. They’re allowed 4 wives in this dunya and 70 some hoors in the next…and if it is because monogamy is a struggle for their nature…then I do sometimes think that the concept of love is overrated. The genders love in different ways but dare I say it, sometimes I think that truer or more sincere love comes more naturally or easily to women. Or maybe I have a jaded outlook from seeing one too many guys whose pretty compliments and declarations turn out to be empty words in the end. Why do women even bother? If only it were easy to not let people into your heart.

Men are evolutionary polygamists. Throughout history most men of power have had multiple partners. This ensures maximum success rate for the human race to multiply ie bachay hee bachay.
Women too have a choice to be polygamist. Except then it would usually be difficult to determine who's children she's bearing. That ends up with confusion over inheritance etc. Also a spot on the Jerry Springer show.

Women cheat as much as men especially if you look at western statistics but men have fewer consequences in the east. Women practically become wajib ul qatil (thank you internet for the new vocab) if they cheat so they stay in their lane more.
