My dad lost his battle with cancer on Jan 17, almost a year ago and only a couple of months short of his 50th wedding anniversary with my mom. They shared a love so complete and total..set SUCH an example for us. we can all haw-haw about it and have some laughs over how tough it is to live and be able to love for that many years...easy to laugh off but not easy to accomplish. My prayer each day is that I be able to love and cherish my husband and family in the way that they did for their many blessed years together.
