So yea just warning you all in advance this is a pretty silly thread…but i’ve seen worse… so with that being said…
I was listening to the radio and they asked what is one key factor that leads to a successful marriage..or something along those lines…the answer was when the husband and wife sleep on different beds! That wasn’t the answer I was expecting!
So my question to all those married couples is: Was it really hard to adjust to sharing a bed with someone!! Like is there a major tug of war for the blanket…or do you kick each other in your sleep, or does one person consistently keep moving around all night so you just can’t get a goodnight sleep!!! And does that lead to fighting…
funny thread. initially i used to sleep on the same bed.. for abt 2 yrs maybe but then the snorin got sooooo bad i had to sleep separately. i was wonderin how u guys who have kids manage to sleep alone considerin uve got kids.. wot do u say to ur kids.. y were mama papa sleepin separately?

How could I forget snoring!! That's a major issue as well....
But u bring up a good question...how do you explain it to kids??
Maybe you could say that dad's really sick and he's contagious...therefore we gotta sleep sepertaly cause mama doesn't wanna get daddy's germs :D

it's simple. u train them to sleep in their bed and room from young age. Slowly they know it. they'll keep slipping in ur bed but once they r around 5 n up u tell them " u r big kid now and big kids don't sleep with mom n dad"
Now my daughter is very smart. she has this rule" when dad is not home i'll sleep with u but when he's back i'll sleep in my room"
gud point.. hehe but just how LONG can u use this as an excuse really??? maybe months but then wot?? :D and wot abt those days when the parents DO decide to sleep together for summmm...... ;) hehe

My kids are quite young and usually they're asleep before 8 o'clock so they don't know if we're sleeping together or not.
u can get those strips for snoring but sleeping separetely imo is not healthy.
Yea i would have thought that same thing that sleeping sep. isn't healthly...but apparenlty there's something called sleep incompatibility....and it said that one woman stabbed and beat her husband cause of his snoring....but that women must have been a psyho!!! lol

hahaha....you got me there....i'm out of ideas... :P
I'll prob. be more creative once I have kids....but hopefully i won't bug my hubby too much...i think i'm a very angelic sleeper :D (i'll prb, just kick him in the head once or twice a night!!)
i ain't married but i suppose teh couples wud rather sleep together as close as possible hence there is no way the they wud have to fight for the bed or the blanket lol
