How do you know when to get married? and who to marry…when you have a few people to consider but don’t really know any of them very well? What do you do when a part of you wants to remain single and a part of you wants to get married? How do you know if the other person wants to marry you for the right reasons…i.e wants to marry you the person as opposed to what you are, and what you can offer?

when your relationship with the other person is strong enough , that you feel you can understand him/her.
there's no doubt in your or his/her feelings .
when both are equally involved :)

seriously though, you can never really be ready to get married. the notion of being married, and actually being in the marriage are two different things. in the end, it really is just one big gamble, and all we can do is hope that we've played our cards right.

and do not think of any prospects that make you feel like you are trading on a trading floor - yourself and others.

y so many question u will never knw wen to marry it will js happen , also u will never knw hu to marry , he / she will cum along u will fall in love or parents will choose ,
also u will never knw if d person choose to marry u for right reasons as sumone sed above marriage is a gamble we js gtta play our cards right

You will know..when the time is right..and meet the right person...just don,t jump into it..with head down.Also never marry a person who has past baggage..caus ethey never seem to leave it behind!

Yes...such confusions do arise...particularly "when a part of you wants to remain single and a part of you wants to get married?" It DOES happen...like I know that its important for everyone to get married...but a few days back when my mom mentioned it...I felt my heart sinking...:O...the thought of leaving your home, family and going to another home, family and then living with them forever is a frightening thought to me...:| and then the sharing part...for a possessive person like me...it would be quite difficult...:| But the people who've gone through such expereinces already, they say that it takes one only a couple of months...and then one gets used to the new family...
Are things really this simple?
