If you ARE married: What are three of the toughest challenges you and your spouse faced during the first five years of marriage? If you’ve been married for less than five years, what are three of the toughest challenges you’ve faced so far?

1. Getting him to fully, 100% hold up his resonsibilities and be independant rather than depending on me/his family members
2. Understanding each other.. We both had issues in the first year or so
3. **Both **of us not getting worked up over the little things/arguments

If you ARE married: Name three things you wish someone told you about marriage before you tied the knot.

1. There’s always someone interferring and making issues out of absolutely nothing/irrelevant things. The trick is to pock your battles and ignore the bull$h!t..
2. It’s hard work (I knew this already but there are some things you need to hear more than once)
3. Once you have children, you’re marriage will never be the same again (not in a negative way)

AH, I have such an amazing husband and I am so lucky.. Allah tallah has blessed me with the other half of myself. I pray all my sisters are blessed with loving, caring considerate husbands.. aameen.
