Why do you care about Islam? Religion is made by humans to conquer yourself. You can believe in god without following any religion. To believe in Allah or God you don't have to be muslim or christian. Religion is the way to control human beings by priests or mullahs. If you truely love someone who don't care about religion but trusts in Allah or god that's good. Try to be open minded and don't follow paths of mullahs or priests.

True, we, as muslims are supposed to teach our children to be good muslims, but we cannot impose Islam on their souls. They have to accept it from the depth of their hearts. However, you cannot NOT care about it. It makes ur comments a bit contradictory. Care accompanies the responsibility.

Well the same can be said of jews and christians, or any other religion as well. Christians and jews have adopted animal customs of adultery, premarital sex and gay and lesbian relations into their lives. To say that you refuse Pakistanis because they have adopted hindu rituals is just sidetracking the issue.
Going back to your original question..not marrying her is not an Option!!!!!!, if thats the case, then no matter what response you get will be useless. You have already made up your mind, and for you its a oneway street. You are merely asking as to how big a sin it would be. Well Allah SWT knows best. If you want to marry her, and no other option is valid to you, then nothing else matters. No justification is going to make you happier, and no invalidation is going to change your mind.
