Marriage walaiti

Would people in pakistan rather marry a walaiti or a pakistani and why is that. I notice alot of girls and guys wait for someone to come from abroad so they can marry them.

WHY IS THIS? Can you please explain?

I think it's actually the other way around. Atleast i know i wouldnt want to marry and move abroad but if the guy is from abroad (studied there, spent some yrs there) then that's fine just as long as he plans to settle here.

It isn't.......a LOT of people do look for walayti rishtaas......and i have heard insane stories about people being duped........

OP......its to do with the perception people have that their future will be secure in everyway if somehow they settle abroad......

I have heard this one time a paki guy agreed a rishta with a paki girl but a walayti rishta come along so he took that and the paki girl only found out when he got off

as far as anyone is concerned in my family well they have never waited for someone to come from abroad...they all got married in pakistan. there are some who got married to guys and girls who were settled abroad but its not that they were waiting for them bas rishta agaya acha laga aur ker diya.

Most wilaitis also like to get good shareef rishteys from Pakistani. Hence people wait in order to realise their dream of becoming a mango.

Well, I know some people who did that but nothing happened so they married others in their family.

Living in walait myself and as a guy I'd rather marry someone who's not from Pakistan but who's from Bartaania or any other foreign country in the West. Nothing malicious just that I feel our thought processes and maybe some views, being used to the culture abroad etc will make it more easier.

Obviously when the times comes sometimes things go differently as planned :D
