Personally I am against it, I will NOT marry my first/second/third cousin. But yes there are many people who are married to their first cousins and I don't have anything against them.

The rate of recessive disorders in children of Pakistanis in UK is 10 times higher than for non Pakistanis....seriously can you afford to ignore this..In US at least you go to genetic councillor that will asses your risk and let you know if you are at a very high risk, I am going to paste excerpt of a news article

You are correct but just a minor problem, if you live in UK you are asking the west to spend billions out of the public coiffeurs to care for these poor babies with genetic defects...
