I think this article goes to some extreme suggesting that even if Jesus (ES) proposed marraige to this lady she would refuse.

On the other hand Ladies are waiting longer to get married even in our Desi culture, because they all want to go to College before getting Married.
Nothing wrong with that.

i think marriage is a necessary and healthy thing needed to raise a family. But perhaps this low rate of marriage is only a natural consequence of human over-population. I have always believed has a way of taking care of all on this planet. and i think this planet is in trouble b/c of over-population and perhaps since European Americans have literally taken over the whole world they are now so advanced that they cant afford to have time for kids...therefore are not reproducing! African Americans and other minority groups still have very healty reproductive rate... though i do think that in order for any group of ppl to do well the basis of the community must be healthy that basis that foundation is famiy - mother father child!

I think the people who are not reproducing as much are responsible people. instead of 2 ppl contrubuting 8 to the world they are having just one or 2, thus keeping the population growth in check. Then they are equipping the child/children with the best that they can provide.

I would not say that african americans and other minority groups have healthy reproductive rates, I would say that they have ‘high’ repreductive rates, which coupled with the breakdown on teh family unit, are leading to bad childhoods, low hope, lesser opportunity, etc etc.
