Marriage fever

I attended a party on Saturday and every second aunti my mom talked to was mentioning how their son/daughter/niece/nephew, etc. was engaged to be married. There must have been about 4 auntis that brought up marriage among their young. Even this one girl who is 33, really pretty, regardless of age and reasons for why she prolonged getting married, is now tying the knot.

I think it’s wonderful that people are finding someone compatible to settle down with and it brings a smile to my face to see that. Have any of you experienced this trend of marriage fever lately as well?

You should de-immunize yourself before it's too late and you end up like Mona's 33 year old friend, it probably surprises everyone how she even managed to get engaged at that age (not that there is anything wrong with it).

yeah.... in my local community, all the younger girls are either engaged or married.. its nice :)

but my small circle of paki friends... hmmm i think we're all pointing the finger at one another... 'u go first... no u go first'
