marriage between a Muslim and a non-Muslim

Queer,

Assuming your comment is directed at me, since you did not understand sarcasm in my post, here is my opinion in simple words. people can marry wheoever they like. Nobody has a right to tell them who is right and who is wrong. If they make a mistake, they pay for it themselves. Clear?

haha arvind, my post was for the initial poster - luc - you would be my brother in the three eyed angry god rudra.

Queer,

Sorry, meri galati! Your knowledge of Hinduism has me impressed!

yeah Queer, your knowledge of monkeys and elephants is truly impressive.

Arvind, stop being so defensive. Try and read the replies before you answer them and gasp some of the other members are hindu!!

aishaA my palakkat bhagawati, are you labelling me a hindoo?!

ps> will you marry me?

aishaA, don't do it. The last person to marry him was Pakistani Tiger..poor girl..haven't seen her since that fateful day...

I feel constrained to correct a misconception about somras. Somras has been conclusively proven to be a variety of mushrooms and not booze. (I forget now the exact species but I believe they are peyotes). This discovery came about after analysis of some shlokas in the Vedas to the effect that "A good person will allow his servants to drink his urine after partaking of Somras so that they can also enjoy its benefits". Scietifically then, it cannot be alcohol as alcohol is completely metabolized by liver whereas chemicals in mushrooms are passed into urine completely. Obviously these kinds of mushroom were expensive even then.

Agarkar married Fatima eh? cool, then I have a chance with yuvy..
