So many girls get married, How many of you actually live with your in laws? and or have you moved from one state to another or one country to another? What are your experiences?
I want to marry but want to live near my family and I want to live with my husband and just visit the other families. Is that wrong? Why do men have a problem with that?

we don't live near either of our parents- we live in a different country from my and his family
i moved to be with him- i don't like being away from my family, it's hard
if i had to live w my inlaws i'd probably kill myself (exaggerating)- but i def wouldn't be able to do it and wouldn't even entertain the idea (unless they needed to live with us bc of illness, disability etc)- i wouldn't mind living closer to them tho- better than not knowing anybody
i don't know anyone who lives with their inlaws but i'd imagine it's quite difficult- i don't think all men have a problem with their wife not wanting to live with his family- you just have to make sure your potential doesn't and you'll be fine!

I live with my in-laws. It's only been a month since I've been married though but alhumdulillah it's all good :)
