Submissive does not mean slave. It means that she **allows **him to marry her, be her husband, and in a way, lead the relationship. By leading, I mean that he is expected to be spontaneous, make decisions if she is unsure, basically be a man. This does not mean that the wife has no say, just that she has **allowed **this particular man to have some leeway. I think this is important because men basically want to please women. Men fight wars, build companies, and make fortunes, because, among other reasons, it increases their chances with women.
