HN: my point was, if you want to attract ppl and make them join the thread, get a seperate site and advertise only that. Also, your address is tottaly different. make them under the same name if you wanna run them both at the same time.

There are many ways to tackle the problem. You see, I was there for a bit on your site to analyze what you did. It is quite annoying to select from the drop down menu. Maybe you can have the drop down menu + a list of the artists on the side. You have categories which is a little crowded as well. Clean it up. The look is, well... as i said b4, you need to look through a viewers' eye.... Always try to ask someone who has had experience in the design industry. I am sure asking a friend or a buddy won't just do, they just might say its good for the sake of it.
