Do any of you know of the major marketing research firms in Pak? Is there scope for this field in Pak? Any other information will be valuable as well. So far I know of one company that operates there as well as in other countries internationally : that would be AC Nielsen.

well neilsen is the largest marketing research firm in the worls when it comes to syndicated data, retail activitu, decision support as well. The closest rival is less than half of ACNielsens's side.
There is tremendous scope for mkt reserach in pakistan, as the purchasing powr is increasing, and with more eductaed consumer, companies need to know more about buyer's habits preferences, and the type of data which will help them evaluate their products and programs. Right now is an exceptional time to get into this fiels in Pakistan.
AcNielsen is a fantastic organization as well. I have had first hand expereinces with them and the company is excellent.

There are hundreds, lots of opportunities if you want to work with one, too saturated a market if you want to start your own.
