Oh and Lusi in terms of a minor to go along with Finance, its really up to the individual. There are a lot of synergies to be exploited if someone likes Accounting – either Financial Accounting and Management Accounting could work well.
Another great area to consider as a minor would be Operations Management / Decision Sciences. This is the background that I come from and am tapping into to shape my interests in Finance.
Whereas all the streams I’ve mentioned above are quantitative in nature, personally, I would recommend a minor in a non quantitative stream. MIS, HR, Marketing could be looked into. This would give someone a very well rounded educational background in both the quantitative as well as qualitative aspects of business.
