Saving a human life is obligatory (Farz) and to save a life, most of the haram becomes halal. If a poor fa,ily is dying of hunger, they are allowed to eat anything to save themselves, including pork.

Improving the quality of life by getting rid of any disease/infection/beemari is also obligatory and if marijuana is the only affordable cure then its allowed.

What if it’s not for saving life but curing mental disorder like stress and depression?
