I personally think that he decided to announce his retirement as he knew that people will be wanting his head on a platter, so he decided to announce his retirement from ODI in the hope that it would be enough to keep him in Test Cricket.

I agree he was good sometimes back,but not now and he was one of the worst captain indeed....Only Pakistani Cricket enemies can praise his captaincy.....& stop personal attacks if you don't have anything constructive to say...
