I woke up in my casket
I thought it was a dream
I shouted out I’m alive
But no one heard my screams
A snake crawled closer to my feet
I felt a scorpion sting
I felt the vulture peck my eyes

I shouted out to GOD

I spread your word all through the land
I suffered for my deeds
I prayed for you five times a day
Your religion I embraced
A light came out from an opening
A whisper came within
Don’t blame me for your sins
Don’t cry to me in vain
You tell me of compassion
You tell me of your deeds
You tell me of your sorrow
You tell me of your needs
I say to you today
That of your one mistake
You went out in my name
You fought with your ambitions
But no one told you this
it was the wrong religion
