Re: Maps of ancient subcontinent
The maps fascinate me, its interesting to see that most of Pakistan now for the most part have been parts of Central Asian as well as Persian empires. Close relationship especially has been present between Sindh, and Balochistan and then in the North between today's Punjab and KP. There are other phases in which most of these areas have been under the same rulers. And then at different times they remained part of mongol empires, Temour etc. Sindh in its present shape can be seen in 5th century AD.
Re: Maps of ancient subcontinent
As per historical records, even today's Multan was part of Sindh during Arab conquest in 8th Century. Muhabbad Bin Qasim went upto Multan chasing Dahir's son.
