Maoists or naxals are almost brink of extinct in india, this are the last few reaming seeking for attention with no public support from current gen,20 states is bs, maoist got support from farmers during 70s and 80s to release lands from landlords and distribute equally using communist method, some of them turned into approval leading normal life this people were taken by force by naxals, but most of them were called for discussions and killed by police encounter, few of them are still left in orissia, chattisgarh e.t
I haven't seen any evidence of China supporting them but I would not be surprised since they are both communist. Sure not a surprise for China to support communist groups in other countries.
China a communist state? May be in the beggining it started on that ideologoy... but that was looong ago...
Do you know what communism is?
If anything China is the first degree capitalist country in the world....
And BTW, with the same logic, why are you surprised when Pakistanis point out Indian support of terrorism in their country? Or Sri Lankans say the same? Or Nepalis say that? Or Chinese say that? (You are the one sheltering "their terrorists") or Bengalis say that?
So you should not put the blame for insurgency in 20 states on China. Look at the reasons..
Well you can live in denial, call it it attention seeking or whatever, but with all definitions a serious insurgency is taking place there…
RAIPUR: A burst of light machine gun fire rips apart the bodies of nine policemen; a vehicle carrying CRPF jawans is lifted in the air by a powerful explosion, seven jawans die; another landmine blast waylays a wedding baraat, killing six of the groom’s family, including a four year old child.
**May has been a bloody month in terms of Maoist violence. Within 25 days, 50 lives have been lost in or around Chhattisgarh. Thirty-three of those killed were security personnel, with the rest being primarily civilians. If you account for casualties among Maoists, that cannot be confirmed in the absence of bodies, the toll crosses the 50 mark.
Barring one episode, none of the deaths made it to the front pages of national newspapers.** Scattered across disparate districts, and tucked away from the national limelight, the deaths are symptomatic of the insistent insurgency engulfing Chhattisgarh from, literally, all four sides.
Maoists Are A Bunch Of Craps. They Have Been Given Some Great Blows By The Security Forces Recently. The Army Is Still Unwilling To Operate Against Them And Also The Airforce Is UnwillingTo Carry Out Airstrikes Against Them,CitingThe Rol Of Indian Army Is To Meet It’s Enemies From Outside And They Have Made It Clear That They Will Not Move Against Maoists Who Are The Citizens Of India.
Maoists Are Not Fighting For Any Seperate Nation. They Are Fighting For Social Justice .

You Can Say So.But Beijing Has not Called Itself A Capitalist Country. You Are Right. It Has Got All Traits Of A Capitlist Nation But That Does Not Mean That China Is A Capitalist Country. The Party Secratariat Is The Final Word Still,In China.
Do you know more then me being living in india.
Last time I checked, in my home state everyone were called for disscussions and got killed in a encounter, as of now none left in my home state, even in villages youth are turning towards education, today I saw in paper half of the ranks from iit are occupied by state who come.from rural areas including top rank
My knowledge is limited - but here goes my understanding.
The Naxalite (or Maoist) problem came about by the exploitation by the feudal landlords & government/big industrialists. The landlords exploited them for their cheap/free labour and the government exploited them for natural minerals & resources found in these areas.
These poor tribal people were inspired by Mao's thoughts of how 'power comes through
the barrel of the gun' and started arming themselves and attacking the Landlords and government authorities.
There is a bit of sympathy for them in the country, but some of their methods (beheading, murder etc) are alienating them from the rest of the country.

Are you retarded? Did I not say in my post itself that I have not seen any evidence?
Any foot of terrorism must be condemned in my opinion. These policemen who died are someone's son, husband who are trying to make living. But one thing for sure is, we need address the root cause of the terrorism. Which is actually a poverty and injustice.
Indian government has been exploiting the naxalities and depriving them of their basic rights. I think other countries should raise a voice and take a stand against indian atrocities in the naxalite region. The regions belonging to nexalities including Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal should be given independance from the evil indian rule. Naxalities want independance and they deserve a separate homeland, this should be raised before the world community.
They claim to be fighting for the rights of the tribes in the forest belt around central India. That region contains deposits of minerals[3]](Communist Party of India (Maoist) - Wikipedia) which are of interest to mining companies like Tata and Essar. There have been numerous human rights violations of the tribal people at the hands of government agencies.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued a notice to Home Ministry for alleged violation of rights after taking cognizance of reports of security men trussing bodies of Naxals to poles.
The Commission has sought a reply from the Secretary of Home Ministry by July 27, on the issue, an NHRC statement said here on Tuesday.
It took cognizance of media reports depicting photographs of security men carrying bodies of Naxalites, including women, with their hands and feet tied to bamboo poles after an anti-Naxal operation in West Bengal’s West Midnapore district.
The Commission observed that “the report, if true, raises a serious issue of violation of human rights of the victims”, the statement said.
Security forces had gunned down 12 Maoists, including three women, in a fierce encounter in Ranja forest of Salboni in West Midnapore on June 16, almost a year after anti-Naxal operations were launched in the district in West Bengal.

Maybe some people in your state don't want that (for now), but the naxalite majority states seem pretty dam convinced they do. Best of luck to them !!
