Maoists on Sunday blew up two school buildings and killed a villager in separate incidents in Orissa’s Malkangiri district, police said. The rebels blew up a school building in Bejingiwada village and another in Tentuliguda village using landmines, Superintendent of Police Anirudha Kumar Singh said. In a separate incident, Maoists killed a man at Gampakunda village, accusing him of being a police informer. The man’s body was found on a village road with Maoist posters lying nearby.
More than half of Orissa’s 30 districts are affected by the Maoist menace. Malkangiri, nearly 620 km from Bhubaneswar, is considered one of their strongholds.
Re: Maoists blow up two Orissa schools, kill man
Maoist trouble is not limited to Orissa's districts.
Re: Maoists blow up two Orissa schools, kill man
The world community should focus on the cruelty of government of india towards naxalites. Naxalites have been deprived of their basic rights in India. They are not being given full rights on the mineral wealth in their areas. They are not being given education, health and infrastructure. The world community and Pakistan should play a role in highligting the grievances of naxalites.

These naxalites seem to be fighting for a “just war” so why are they not helped by the Indians… reminds me of the plight of my homeland.
Why dont both countries have a Revolution ![]()
Surely that would be good for the people and put an end to swamp life politics.
