Maoists attacks in India

I am sure then bharat mathas screams were screams of joy all along :rotfl:

Well how do you react when you see a “pest” !!! keep that though in mind …

Pest rapes bharat matha, is that why it screams?....LOL.... There is always something new about bharat matha... LMAO.................................

Well with India "firmly" sitting on half the country ..... what do you call that :o

Sad to hear..
Wonder why this Maoist movement isnt given as much attention as the Swat issue in Pakistan...

Maoists usually do not target innocents....and we have all reasons to target and discuss the communist ideology when such attacks take place.....

We cannot say the same when your trained 'peace-loving' people kill innocents.

Maoists deaths and extremism

Yeah we know Indians don’t kill innocent.

Maoists have killed a one-year-old baby today. A land mine exploded under a packed bus in southern Nepal. Maoists have been attacking innocent civilians. Recently, 55 people were killed and dozens more wounded in Nepal when a crowded bus detonated a land mine planted by Maoists.

You mean half of akhand bharat LOL...

Nepal … Geography … India … Innocent

tck tck tck maoist are only from Nepal or Mars but not from India… LOL…

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Villagers take on India’s Maoists

The Indian government is experimenting with new ways of fighting back against Maoist fighters, who now operate in almost half of the country’s 28 states.

India Leaders Name Growing Maoist Insurgency Top Security Threat
In India, lack of rural development and failed peace initiatives appear to be giving strength to the country’s 40-year-old Maoist rebellion. ** Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is calling the Maoist threat the single-biggest security challenge India has faced since independence.**

Again lessons Pakistan should learn on how to tackle insurgency … involve local population … but then one’s option are limited if you have lost “territory” to these “groups”

hehe, experimenting for last 40 years and shri maoist keep growing.. :D

Well they haven't been able to take an inch of "territory" ..... compare that with what has happened in the last 40 years in our "neighbourhood" ....

So Indian's are better off "experimenting" .... then "relying" on some "invincible tools", as is the case in some "areas" .... which in any case only seem to function under "test" conditions only and NOT under "testing" situations ....:)

Ah yes seems like that bad Shri Maoist is ruuning its own parallel govt. Of course it can’t be India but mars, Wat a greaaaaaat experiment on going for last 40 years… LMAO…

Armed Conflicts Report - India-Andhra Pradesh

"As of September, Naxalites had killed 44 police personnel and 202 civilians… ** In areas under their control, Naxalites dispense summary justice in ‘people’s courts’ which in some cases condemn to death suspected police informers, village headmen, and others deemed to be ‘class enemies’ or ‘caste oppressors.’ ** The Naxalites extort money from business firms, and railway services in one area had to be canceled in July and August due to PWG destruction of stations, track and signaling equipment. The MCC and the CPI(M-L) Party Unity and Liberation factions are essentially engaged in caste warfare. Their victims, in addition to police and local government officials, include suspected police informers, village headmen, and landlords whom they accuse of oppressing scheduled caste members

It s good that you are doing some real "research" on the Maoists ...... as for India and the insurgencies in last 40 years ... you would have seen India has been able to "contain" all elements politically be it in Punjab, or Northeast or even recently in Kashmir .... however as i said it has never lost "territory" as has been the norm in "neighbouhood" ....

"Extortion" is different from losing "physical control" ....

You just read two lines in a some report and base your perception on that … no one has RUN from Bastar like Swat … look at the developemnt work taking place there …

Steel major Tata Steel will invest around Rs.100 billion for a five-million-tonne-per-annum steel plant in Bastar according to an agreement signed with the government in June 2005.
Officials claim nearly 80 percent of the total 5,098 acres required for Tata plant has been acquired at Lohandiguda block’s 10 villages.

Maoist-infested Bastar region set to receive Rs.335 bn investment

Funny that India has lost “control” but developemnt works are taking place … while as Pakistani’s are pulling their investment’s out of Pakistan beacuse of the situation there !!! So understand the difference

Re: Maoist kill 15 Indian police walla

[mod]Please stick to the topic. Maoists have nothing to do with Swat. I've removed some posts from here, please dont make me do so again.
[/mod]

Development work.. LOL…
here is a little test for you, lets see your analytical skills, see if you can comprehend the following one word at a time..

India’s Maoist insurgents, also called Naxalites, have expanded their area of operations from just four states 10 years ago to half of India’s 28 states today. In 165 districts, they claim to run parallel “People’s” governments.

It is your "perception" of the "parallel government" that i have issues with .... and the comparison with Swat was an example ...... yes the Maoists are a considerable threat ....which even the PM has mentioned ... but to say that the Indian state does not have any control in these areas is being childish. I have personally travelled in a number of their districts and the sense of insecurity is visible. But then it does not mean that the Indian state is not present there !!!! The army is not fighting pitched battles with artillery as would have been the case if the territory was lost.
