Manzoor Colony gets water supply after 38 years

KARACHI: More than 10,000 houses of Manzoor Colony, UC-2 Jamshed Town, will receive water after 38 years, as the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) has started giving residents water connections through a new pipeline.

City Nazim Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the project two weeks ago by announcing the provision of free water connections and waivers of all outstanding residents’ dues. The nazim also announced the incorporation of Manzoor Colony into KWSB’s jurisdiction. …
