**A bomb explosion at a crowded market in the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar has killed at least 20 people, police say.**The suspected suicide bombing occurred in the centre of the city near a police station, with some reports suggesting a senior officer was among the dead.
The target of the attack, and its perpetrators, are unclear.
It was the second attack in the city in a day. Earlier, a bomb exploded outside a school, killing a young boy.
The blast wounded several others. Police said they were trying to determine the cause of the blast at the Police Public School - but no-one has said they carried out the attack.
Taliban militants have carried out dozens of attacks across north-west Pakistan in recent months.
