Manners

How important is it in a potential life parnter

Re: Manners

It’s of utmost importance for me or I’ll suffocate.

Re: Manners

So would chose someone well mannered but not so educated over someone not so well mannered but highly educated?

Re: Manners

My former husband was the latter. Never again.

Re: Manners

What constitutes manners?

Re: Manners

Yeah i can’t date a girl that thinks farting is cute, foh with that immature $hit.

Re: Manners

Agree. Yuck. Even burping freely before your spouse puts me off.

Thankfully not very common in girls though. A lot more guys tend to think farting/belching openly is something to be proud of.

Re: Manners

Without a doubt, I would choose former.

Re: Manners

Former

Re: Manners

A person with bad manners doesn’t equate they are a bad person, it either reflects the people they’ve been around while growing up or if they’ve adopted them later in life reflects their surroundings - both not always in our control.

I never use swear words, even low intensity swear words, and never literally means never. Makes me really uncomfortable if someone else around me uses them regardless if they are a man or a woman and try to distance myself from such folks even if they are good natured otherwise.

Re: Manners

Respecting elders
Speaking politely in genreal
Not swearing depsite the situation
Good social skills
Basically having a treat others the way you want to be treated approach most of the time not just when convenient

Re: Manners

you can never know the true manners till you live with a person…most normal people can put up a show for extended periods of time…but if someone can’t keep up even in the formal setting —you better run away.
