Re: Manners In Pakistan
^Well in Pakistan it's the other end. They act so grumpy and sometimes rude (at the airport for example) that it does ruin the start of your trip.
But you know, if you have something to offer/intimidate them with (status, power, wealth) or can get them fired from their jobs, watch them help you skip all the queues, collect your bags and bring you drinks etc.
Re: Manners In Pakistan
Depends on how good you have been to people in Pakistan and what kind of a family in Pakistan you belong to.
If you act all 'hamaray haan aisa nahee hota' with the desis, they won't care much for you either.
Re: Manners In Pakistan
And then, some of the best people in Pakistan will never use polite words, would call you with funny names, swear every time they call you but would show real sincerity with actions.
Re: Manners In Pakistan
^Sure pal. I see it as a default level with everyone until they find out who you are and suddenly they become the nicest people ever too you.
