Why did her dad play him like that?! He wanted to see how far he would be willing to go for her but at the same time knew Salahuddin would know Mannu is unreachable from a socioeconomic standpoint. Regardless, the way he called Salahuddin out on his "mardaangi" was so sad. The actors nailed their dialogues and expressions especially in the last scene.

I don't get why Sallu doesn't just move out; why the bheegi billi act? Like seriously man up - live in a hostel or something.
And Mannu -- bit much ho gaya when she went to the party. Like chill maro for a minute, the folks there were sort of nice to her. Give it a minute.
And the MIL/FIL with the whole we are disappointed speech.. like hold up -- how is a girl supposed to undo the crap parenting of years. And be parents RAISE your kid right rather than expect others to fix your mistakes.
Cute how Sallu couldn't stand her hair being cut. How can you feel such possessiveness about someone but not realize you love her so much. Bhar mey gayi duniya...

dunno why almost every drama showing newly wed girls trying to fix the men who don't deserve anything.
why not show them kicking off such stupid and crappy men and going home with dignity.
the same old oh i gotta stick to it no matter how much insult is given on daily basis and hiding it from family and inlaws and everyone. what message are they giving to girls?
