The contents of Dr Singh’s speech at Amritsar were a joy to hear about.
And it was nice to listen to him address in Punjabi.
For some reason Manmohan Singh seemed more sincere than ever in trying to resolve issues. Whether he actually is or not, one thing is imp, and that’s the tone. Never before has an Indian PM given out such mild vibes. These are good signs that people on both sides have awaited for years.
