Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
Well I have no other choice and it's a simple design so not hard to copy into my own design. I'm making it slightly different so hopefully it turns out good

I'm not getting a trail that would look too much. I'm wearing a really nice chummar with this outfit which I think ties the outfit together nicely
Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions

Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
I don't know anyting about womens attire but I think that dress looks really good. :)

Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
Manish Malhotra's store in India got back to me, This outfit is 325,000 indian rupees which is equivalent to £4500!!!!
I mean it's not even a bridal outfit so can you imagine how much his bridals cost...
Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
^ Is he on magic mushrooms or something???? It has a huge gota patti as a border with barely any kaam on teh dress!
Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
Ok so I paid £400 for this outfit from Mongas, don't ask I had to argue with them to get it down from £600! They were going on and on how it's a hard design to copy cos of the cut etc
I will find out in 5 weeks the final outcome fingers crossed!

omg I was gonna get a copy of this dress made for my sister
def not worth 4500 pounds!!!
Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
^ I think it's probably one of the few designs that I like by him, but £4500 is ridiculous - and here I was thinking Indian Designers weren't so overpriced....

Well what everyone has to rememeber is that the Indian Rupee is very strong more than the pound! It should not be confused with the Pakistani rupee exchange rate.
The woman at Manish Malhotra quoted exactly 325,000 Indian rupees which is the equivalent to £4459
In Pakistani rupees the amount would be £2354
Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
^ I've just converted directly from Indian to Pakistani online - 325,000 Indian rupees is 615,000 Pakistani rupees.
615,000 Pakistani rupees is approx. £4500, so it doesn't work out to be £2354, although I wish that were the case...

Yes you're right I was just highlighted the huge price differences between the indian and pakistani rupee!
Re: Manish Malhotra design opinions
^ ahh, sorry, I see what you mean...

Yea I thought the same thing! Guess we were wrong. In any case, this dress isn't even worth that much since there is very little intricate work on it, but its a beautiful dress itself.
