Manipur burning!– India creating another Kashmir - Sonia shows her leadership in fairness and justice

Manipur is burning! Government of India created another Kashmir allowing heavy handedness by Assam Rifles – the security forces. Manipur has been on the boil for the last three weeks with agitators, supported by NGOs, taking to the street to protest the rape and killing of a 30-year-old woman, Manorama Devi, allegedly by Assam Rifles personnel.

The Manmohan Government from the beginning mishandled the situation by allowing security forces increase their atrocities. Today in the household of Manipur the biggest topic is whether to trust the Government any more. Manipur has primarily Hindu population with strong Hindu heritage from the time of Lord Krisha. Manipuris are not anti-Indian but Governemnt and security forces are taking them in that direction.

How long really it takes to punish the rapist murderers? Indiadaily was first to first to point tit out months back. Government censored all media in this topic but could not stop Indiadaily.

Finally the Government understood what really happened. They have sent a new Governor - retired civil aviation secretary S S Sidhu. What Manipuris want is relief from torturous security forces and participating Governor. How about selecting a Manipuri person as Governor?

Finally Sonia Gandhi moves in with her compassion, fairness and justice. She calls emergency cabinet meeting to make Manmohan’s hard headed ministers understand what is happening. If Sonia was not there Manipur would be another Kashmir.

Not a single Indian media other than Indiadaily had the guts to come out and tell the truth. Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) allowed the Government to shut all media channels up.

What common Indians want is independence from out of state heavy handedness? India’s future lies in a European Union type of democracy where all individuals have their right and privileges preserved. Every state has its own power and no one really dominates the other.

This speaks volumes about indian democracy. No wonder Indian govt. has always misguided Indian people and hidden facts about Kashmir.

This may delight you Islamabad, but both the correspondent and you are wrong.

The Indian media has been extensively reporting on this matter.

By the way, I am hearing about this India Daily for the first time...
