Is it possible to manipulate search engine results so that a search will reflect your website rather than others?

yes its possible by some trick, adding meta tags, keywords, etc. also having blog on your site also help to rank higher in google.
some sites also include text in very small size hidden with color mixed with background. if you have text relavent to search string, it does help.
but google change its ranking algorithem quite often to be in control of search results so no body get the hang of its pattern.
