hmm.... is it really a problem..? I may consider it a problem if the scenario was set in 16th century n the situation was opposite that a guy is harassing the girl to marry him..... but wat is this ? i hope its not made up.....
well about the question....is this guy in love with her ? r they Muslims? If the guy is of good character then he should tell his mother n the elders will deal with the problem... she will not commit suicide... if she could she would do it when she did that haram act or when she came to know that she is pregnant...where is her ex ? she is not innocent... its not a mistake .... if the guy want to take care of her or the baby then he is a great man and Allah will reward him for that but if he doesnt want to marry her then he should not...it will ruin his life .... the gal herself made her life a hell she should deal with it .... and bring the ex in the scene,he should be the one blackmailed by her ....
