It was interesting to hear Rashid talking about Saleem Malik as Captain. Also, I saw what you meant about his praise for the 2 W's. I never knew Latif would be such a positive person.
One key point he made, that really clicked with me. "No doubt they (todays bowlers in the team) are good, but what Wasim and Waqar had and could deliver, shouldn't be expected now. People still want the same, but it can't happen." more or less this is what he said. I think this is a reallity. They were immensely talented and strong willed.
I wonder why they didn't have high morals and ethical values those days as well (excluding Latif) . I guess Allah does not give everything to one single individual.

Ask umer.ashraf. He thinks that Malik was a better captain than even Imran Khan just because the former has a better win% (although no away wins of note) as captain :smack: Besides I believe that had more to do with the brilliance and immense talent of the two W’s rather than Malik’s brilliant captaincy.
