when is the best time for mangoes in TO, Canada? if we are driving from the US just for mangoes.. when will be the best time to go? late July, early august?
any recommendations for areas? stores?

GTG, I don’t know about Toronto but in NYC, I have seen good mangoes in both July-mid August.

mid June to mid August are the best times to get Indian/Pakistani mangoes in GTA.

Lusi.. we have eaten those but they are not anwar rathor or chonsa.. hehehe husband happens to be a mango snob and I dont mind traveling 
KKF.. hmm so a weekend right after eid would still be good?

you can buy the4m in most Indian and Pakistani grocery stores all across GTA. i usually buy them at Koh-e-Noor grocery store in Gerrard India Bazar on Gerrard Street East in Toronto.
i guess so…the think is the amount of mangoes and/or the quality probably is best up until 15th of August…you may find mangoes in a fewer stores with inferior quality even at the end of August.
btw, i got some mangoes from my own orchard in India. it’s called LangRaa [lame mango lol] and it’s yummy!
