Mango Pulp

I bought a can of mango pulp from the desi grocery store a few weeks back to use in a recipe…well i have alot left over now, any suggestions on what I can do with it before it goes bad (besides milkshake/lussi)

PS I don’t have a food process or blender so…anything easy really… Shukriya :naak:

mango custard ... can even turn that into mango custard pie (use pre-made pie crust)
I once had a mango and passion fruit cheesecake ....... which was to die for good .........

I once made an emergency dessert out of it.. condensed milk, mixed fruit can, sour cream, jelly cut into cubes, and mango pulp... people really enjoyed it!!!

My mom makes the best mango ice cream w/ that pulp.

1 can of mango pulp
1 can of condensed milk
1 8 oz container of whip cream

Mix the pulp and condensed milk together. Fold in the whip cream and freeze over night. Delicious every time!!!

mix pulp and cream and eat with paratha for breakfast...may be add a bit of sugur if you want in the cream/pulp mix...!

Maybe you can just eat it? Like you would a mango? Most of the recipes and suggestions above call for blending the pulp, and since you dont have a blender, might as well eat the slices!

i add pineapple slices ,bannan,apple and grapes
specially when kids in guests ,its great taste .they like it too much
becareful ,ladies its highly nrich with calories

actually its not slices, its just a syrup.

Put a bit of citric acid in it and a drop of vinegar and some spicies and boil it down to make a mango chutney

you can make a really delicious cheesecake, i often make it with mango pulp.
just mix it with whipped cream, cream cheese and sugar, pour over a crushed biscuit base, chill in the fridge.... delicious!
