I want to make mango ice cream, I like it all time but want to eat homemade by myself. Any body knows the recipe plz share.

i don't make mango ice cream ....
i make vanilla ice cream ....n my family loves it.....this is the basic recipe n can be altered adding mangoes ....
i have yet to try with mango ...but i think you can give it a try if you like!!

LD!!! my hubby wants homemade mango ice cream :( , I fine some from internet but all of them have instructions to make in ice cream maker machine, I want just to mix ingredients and freeze it.

Jias....:)

you need:

milk.....................4 cups
cream ..................200-250 ml
sugar...................6-8 tsp.
salt.......................a pinch
vanilla.................1/2 tsp. (i use crushed vanilla pods)

cookl all the above together making sure milk doesn't stick to bottom
cook until thick n a bit creamy
let it cool
beat with electric beater ...n freeze
after some 30-40 minutes take out from freezer n beat again
repeat this at least 3-4 times ...this will ensure soft texture without crystals

you can make ice cream with custard too ....just add a bit more sugar than normal coz it feels less sweet otherwise

i've even tried with youghurt too ....freeze the flavoured yoghurt or make your own flavoured version

for mango ice cream mix mango purree with cooked mixture n freeze

here is the easiest and yummiest recipe for mango icecream.

1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pint heavy whipping cream
4 fresh mango pulp
2 slices of white bread

Put all the above in a blender and blend it for 5 minutes. After that put the mixture in molds and freeze it. You will amaze yourself and your hubby by the turnout of this recipe. It is the best!!!!

Get some vanilla icecream and mango pulp (canned one).
Blend the two ingredients together and freeze. I think that should do it.
