I am sure a lot of you must have been waiting to see Mandi Bahauddin photos.. I spend a part of my childhood in Phalia.. FOr those of you not from Punjab, Mandi Bahauddin is a very lovely place- a mix of urban and rural life as well as scenic beauty.. ideal place to do farming!

Honestly, I don't know.. I guess its based on some saint called Bahauddin.

My home town is Sheikhupura tehsil Nanakana Sahib. Sheikhpura is like 20 miles from Lahore- Sheikhupura is a very important city and is not far from India :) Mani Bahauddin on the other hand, is between two great rivers of Punjab- Chenab and Jhelum. Its very close to Gujaranwala and Gujrat- stronghold of "the" most powerful chaudharies of Punjab.

not quite.. rajput is a major muslim caste like Jatts, Gujjars, Arains, Awans, Qureishis, Syeds etc. whereas Chaudhary is a designation like "Sir". So, any rajput/jatt/gujjar can be a chaudhary.
