Hi everyone, newbie here, just joined the forum 
was wondering if anyone knew about mandelic peels? they’re supposed to make u a couple of shades lighter, I was thinking about getting this done here Welcome to Natural Define under bridal skin lightening. Has anyone had this done before and does anyone know if it’s safe? I’m getting married next summer, wanted to start on my beauty regime early

i went to them, i dnt know if it worked. i have sens skin and i left it too late. i shouldve gone aggo. im going pak next week. lets say i did 3 treatments and no difference..maybe a little but nothing you could see. i didnt do it fir lightening mself, i did it for acne marks...didnt work so far....but maybe thats cos we had to go slow cos of my sens skin...im not sure if it worked. i bought a few creams wich she said will get rid of redness it didnt.
however it is the best company out there for this....the peels were not painful.just slight stinging. alot of salons are now doing it. for me personally so far, nothing..
thanks for the reply nadz :) that's kinda disappointing, I don't what other peels to go for, was thinking of either the mandelic ones or one called the amelan peel, don't know if you've heard of it?

the mandelic peels are good, but it takes time. depends on your skin. i have sens skin so maybe thats why itl take longer for me...
mandelic are the best ones, whats your skin type...if you jsut want to loighten it, maybe its ok. i wanted to lighten my acne marks...and im already very fair...so i didnt notice any lightening of face,if your darker then you will.
Diff types of peels for diff types of skin.. glycolic, salicylic, mandelic, chemical, TCA peels etc.. let u're derm decide which one is suitable for u.
thanks for the input, yeah im medium toned, have a few acne scars and suffer from acne now and then, go through phases basically. yeah I think im just going to book a consultation with them and see what they suggest, thanks again guys :)
be careful, youll get roped into doing a peel regardless of whether you feel you need it or not..the saleswoman technique is very tempting and you feel you can trust them.so be wary and dnt just dont listen to them if they insist, if you feel comfy then go for it..otherwise dnt...
