For those of you who have a full time day job and are also studying , please share ideas on how to manage time and energy. I think its very easy to get bogged down with work stress, eventually leading to negligence of the studies , how do you find ways to remain motivated and committed to the course / certification you began studying for?

The best thing is if your job or study is flexible and you're not easily stressed out by deadlines. I personally didn't do this but my husband did. He did his master while he was also working full time. His studies and job were pretty flexible and he could work from home as well. Because studies were the top priority he took at least one full day off from work during the week just to study. Three weeks before the examinations he didn't work too much either. The company had hired him based on something specific so they were pretty large with him and his schedule.
Well.. I am going to be doing that soon inshaallah. Lets hope for the best..
I study in the train and a couple nights a week after kids have slept. I was traveling a lot recently so planes and airports as well. Finishing up on the 1st so this weekend will be a busy one

^ How do u drown out conversation. People are so damn loud.
1- train- always use the quiet car
2- airport, airline lounge
3- airplane- noise reducing headphones or noise isolating earbuds
Plus it helps that I was always able to study better in a cafe or common room/chapter room than a library or in my room with closed doors
Re: Managing time for study along with a full time job
I did a full time research job along with my master's coursework last year and managed a publication out of it as well. The best thing about my job was that it was in campus and I 'only' had to walk almost a mile to attend my classes so I did a lot of walking as well that kept me physically fit. It is no doubt very hectic but once you learn how to manage your time at work and study, it turns out to be the best experience ever. Try not to overburden yourself and bring your left over office work at home. You can always ask your boss to give you a short break when you are expecting a quiz and makeup for that time by working harder the next day. My team lead was very cooperative and understanding in that regard.
You will get to interact with a lot of people over the course your study work time. Try to be around productive people who set targets and strive hard to achieve them, they will be a great source of motivation. I have always been avoiding negative people who gossip around aimlessly. They make you feel sad and you end up feeling depressed.
